Introducing The Bambalina Skort — one of those special pieces we hope becomes instantly recognizable as Bambalina.
We wanted the beauty, quality and romance of a traditional heirloom skirt, but we also wanted little girls to be able to run, twirl, climb, explore and simply be children.
So we created a beautifully full skirt with bloomers sewn right underneath.
No separate shorts to remember. No extra layer to add. Just one beautifully handcrafted piece designed for both beauty and childhood.
And we didn’t stop at the silhouette. We were incredibly intentional about the fabrics and trims that go into it.
🌿 NATURAL FABRICS MATTER
The Bambalina Skort is handcrafted using beautiful cotton and linen blend fabrics.
Cotton and linen are natural fibers loved for their breathability and beautiful feel. Children’s clothing sits against delicate skin for hours at a time, which is why the materials we choose matter so much to us.
We could have chosen inexpensive synthetic lace.
We didn’t.
Even the beautiful lace detailing that gives this skort its romantic, vintage character is created with 100% cotton threads.
That means the natural-fiber story isn’t hidden underneath the garment, it carries through the details you actually see.

Our Terracotta is a sophisticated blend of burnt orange, rust and warm red undertones. It has the richness of autumn without feeling overly bright or traditionally orange.

Smooth and flat in the front. Adjustable elastic in the back.
Interior buttons allow the elastic to be drawn in to better fit your child’s waist.
It gives you the polished appearance of a traditional flat waistband from the front while offering the flexibility little ones need.

How to Read Our Measurements
Waist: The measurement shown is the finished garment waist with the back elastic relaxed. All sizes have button-adjustable elastic, allowing the waist to be tightened for a more customized fit.
Length: Measured from the top of the waistband to the finished bottom edge of the skort.
Children’s proportions vary, so please compare the measurements with your child before ordering rather than relying on age alone.

Your Bambalina Skort will be individually handcrafted for you after your order is placed.
We are a small artisan team—not a mass-production factory. Every piece receives the time and attention that handcrafted clothing deserves.
Estimated Standard Production: 10–12 weeks
Possible Delays: Please allow up to 10–14 weeks.
Rush production may occasionally be available. Please contact us before purchasing a Rush My Order option so we can confirm whether your requested timeframe can be accommodated.
Please allow grace for unexpected delays due to illness, family circumstances, fabric or trim availability, or shipping issues. Your patience allows us to continue creating clothing slowly and thoughtfully.

Final Sale: Because each piece is individually handcrafted to order, all sales are final. No returns or exchanges.
Custom Colors: Custom Color orders must be approved before purchase. Fabric availability must be confirmed by us first.
Photography & Events: Please do not schedule a photoshoot or special event based solely on an estimated completion date. We strongly recommend having your garment in hand before booking time-sensitive plans.
Safety: Buttons, trims and other small details may present a choking hazard. Children should always be supervised while wearing the garment.
Care: Because of the natural fibers, handcrafted construction and delicate cotton lace, professional cleaning is recommended.
